Who we are and how we worked together

We are a group of 6 students attending William C. Bryant HS and we make a very diverse team. Each individual comes from a different country and brings a different set of skills to the table. Andi, (Albania) the Team Leader is a good writer and brings his leadership skills in helping the team stay on top of their work. Aritra, (India) is the Project Manager and has tremendous skill in website design and is always very motivated. Abdallah, (Palestine) is the most hardworking member in our team and is always up for any work. Shaun, (American) has great knowledge in Photoshop and can make plain images come alive. Rubin, (Albania) is also a master in Photoshop and is very creative. Rehman (Pakistan) is a great video making wizard, who can truly make a master piece out of anything. Dr. Katherine Flori and Mr. Varun Kumar are our Coaches who help us with their knowledge and experience. We are all part of a team called MOUSE Squad where we assist our faculty with any computer issues that they experience therefore we came up with the idea of using our skills to create a website where others can learn to become computer savvy.

How we collaborated together as a team

The team worked very hard to create a visually appealing and coherent website.  All the ThinkQuest members belong to the W. C. Bryant MOUSE Squad, so the transition was effortless.  Because we have known each other for several years, we know each other’s strengths.  Therefore, each team member strove for perfection in his assigned element.  Problems were solved by sharing knowledge in different topics.

      Each team member brought a different skill to the table.  Aritra Datta, who is also our Project Manager, has amazing web design skills.  His incredible talent, coupled with his exceptional experience with Flash, Photoshop and Dreamweaver was a tremendous help to the creation and design of the site especially that dummy image on our home page.  Rubin Taipi and Shaun Lee are both very talented in Dreamweaver.  They helped Aritra with ideas as well as the creation of various images throughout the website.

      Abdallah Shuaib was responsible for the content of the site, and he did a tremendous job in researching and creating many of the tutorials.  Rehman Sikandar is our video expert.  He played a major role in creating the videos for each tutorial.  Andi Muskaj, the Team Leader, help keep the team on track.  He facilitated many aspects of the site, such as the creation of tutorials, many of the writing sections, proposing ideas and leading the team in completing a well-built project within the parameters outlined by ThinkQuest.

      Ultimately, we worked together as a team, and we worked hard.  We demonstrated our skills and learned from each other and most importantly, we became better team players.
