Counselors
Through counseling, you
have an opportunity to talk to a trained professional who is objective.
You can learn how to resolve problems that confuse or upset you by
discussing your concerns and feelings. In counseling, you can
understand what is happening, and learn new coping skills and ways of
looking at situations so that you can solve possible future problems
and can be guided in making more effective decisions. To maximize the
benefits of counseling, it is helpful to recognize that a problem
exists and that openness in expressing your problems and feelings will
go a long way in helping to improve the situation.
