After months of being physically away from teachers, classmates and not having a traditional school day structure, some of you may be feeling a little anxious to start of a “normal” school year this fall. LET’S TALK ABOUT IT!
The Mission of the William Cullen Bryant Library-Research Center is to provide students, teachers, and staff with access to a rich array of information resources, and ensure that they are current, relevant and reflective of our diverse school community.
The library will also provide students with recreational reading materials from a wide range of authors, literary genres and reading levels.
Our library will assist teachers by supplying the supplementary classroom materials needed to support New York State's Next Generation Learning Standards as well as the curriculum of the New York City Department of Education.
Our library will provide for the recreational reading interests of all our students by supplying a broad range of materials in fiction as well as non-fiction, at all reading levels.
The librarians of William Cullen Bryant Library-Research Center welcome suggestions for materials from all students, faculty and staff members.
Please let us know if there is a school-appropriate book, audio book, or DVD that you would like us to have!
